At Haywood Animal Hospital, we believe that dental health is extremely important to the overall wellness of our patients. From routine dental care and x-rays to more complex oral surgery, we strive for healthy teeth and gums.
We are passionate about providing thorough and complete dental care, therefore ALL of our dental assessments and prophylactic dental cleanings include full mouth x-rays. We find that >60% of our patients have painful pathology, found only through x-ray. Which means that your pet could be in pain (think constant "toothache") and none of us can tell by visual exam.
