Originally from Maine, Eryn spent 10 years in an aquatics career with the YMCA before moving on in 2024 to discover her next chapter. While working with the Y she discovered her passion for community outreach and leadership development, as well as training and coaching. She has competed in Y-Masters Nationals Swimming earning two gold and two silver medals. Since moving to North Carolina in 2021 she has continued to train Red Cross lifesavings skills. During the summer of 2024 she helped to train roughly 300 local camp counselors in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. Moving into an Animal Hospital setting has been an exciting new challenge as she learns more about how to treat and manage quality of life for our furry friends.
In her spare time she enjoys visiting with friends and family, often playing board games like Wingspan and Ecologies. She also enjoys the brewery culture here in the Asheville area, as well as the access to the outdoors. Her dog Nova and cat Pippin love being able to go outside year round, and have enjoyed many hikes in the local forests and parks.
